Fibroblast Skin Tightening

Fibroblast Skin Tightening: A Quick Refresher Notes

It has been while we added the most effective skin tightening procedure- Fibroblast Skin Tightening (FST). It is an alternative to laser, injections, and surgical procedures that help tighten and improve the appearance of the skin. For longer-lasting results, from texture to tone, FST is the way to go.

Keep reading if you are interested in deep dive about the FST and our recent updates on the therapy.

What is Fibroblast Skin Tightening?

FST is also known as Plasma Fibroblast Therapy or Plasma Lift that targets fibroblasts- the most typical type of cell found in connective tissue. Fibroblasts are collagen-protein-producing cells that help maintain a structural framework for many tissues, including the skin. They are found in the dermis- the layer of skin just below the outermost skin layer. Fibroblasts also play a vital role in healing wounds and help maintain the firmness and tightness of the skin.

As we age, the dermal layer tends to thin and lose its elasticity because our bodies produce less collagen and elastin. This aging process is, unfortunately, a natural phenomenon that causes wrinkles and sagging of the skin. That's where FST comes into play.

In FST, a pen-like device- Plasma Pen that discharges a high-frequency electric current is used to treat small areas of the skin. The plasma pen tip releases a targeted current just above the skin without directly touching the skin. And, heat does not pass into the dermal layer, making it safe and gentle to treat delicate skin areas.

It creates micro-injuries in the process. These micro-injuries stimulate fibroblasts' activity, encouraging new collagen and elastin production in the skin, in turn, resulting in skin resurfacing without any surgery. Thanks to its resurfacing ability, FST has the following benefits.

Benefits of Fibroblast Skin Tightening

  • Improves skin texture and tone

  • Firms the skin

  • Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles

  • Addresses crow's feet and crepiness

  • Tightens skin sagging

  • Fades acne scars, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation

  • Leaves skin a younger-looking and radiant visage

At AskCares, we started FST four years ago. Since then, we have upgraded the device- Plasma Pen- thrice, each time to the most advanced. Our latest device is a medical-grade Plasma Pen - Plaxel by MedSun (Made in South Korea), which has the most cutting-edge technology to deliver the most effective procedure in the safest manner.

Pixel emits the tiniest plasma arcs possible with its conductor made with copper. These sparks enter the skin, where they sublimate epidermal skin cells. Then targeted cells are turned from solids to gases, leaving behind a dot of carbon. With proper techniques and aftercare, there is no bleeding, scarring, or bruising linked with Pixel.

Moreover, we have come with our very own technique and pattern to achieve the best results. The golden rule is bigger the area you treat, the better the results. So, Full Face FST is the way to go. The benefits of Full Face FST are two-fold 01. It addresses antiaging skin expectations like bumps, minor breakouts, pigmentations, scars, and texture. 02. Skin-tightening. We always find visible good results with Full Face FST in sagging skin without affecting muscle tone. It is also gentle enough to treat saggy eyelids unless you have puffy eyes, under-eye bags, or physiologically heavy eyelids that it might be better to address by a plastic surgeon.

Full Face FST that covers hairline to jawbone, including eyelids, takes three to four hours. Once FST has done, you experience the tiny dots scab over and fall off after about one week. Over the next couple of weeks, skin appears tighter and firmer as the micro-injuries heal.

Besides, we have been working with different skin types, ages, colors, and target areas for all these years. Therefore, we are skillful enough to provide a client-specific plan and awareness from selecting a candidate, downtime, to post-procedure care. ( Read more……)
