Fibroblast Skin Tightening

Fibroblast Skin Tightening: Understanding The Procedure and Benefits

Fibroblast treatment has many different titles: Fibroblast skin tightening, Fibroblast wrinkle remover, Fibroblast Plasma Lift, Fibroblast mole remover, etc. They all refer to the same treatment administered with the plasma pen and convey the versatility of this revolutionary technology.

Fibroblast has been widely utilized in Europe, however, it has only recently reached the US beauty market. Despite being extremely safe and pain-free, the treatment gives results that could only be achieved with a surgical procedure. In this article we will take a look at candid clients’ results of Fibroblast treatment performed at AskCares, will explore the treatment process, and will identify the best areas for the treatment.

How does it work:

Fibroblast Skin Treatment is performed using a plasma pen and under topical anesthetic cream. An electrical arc is discharged from the plasma pen without actually touching the skin. At the multiple places on the treated area where the plasma pen is used, the discharge leaves micro craters in the skin which heal in form of dots (see image on the right). The skin around the dots naturally shrinks to heal the micro craters which cause the skin stretching effect.

After about a week the scabs from the dots will fall off revealing multiple pink dots in their stead which will gradually fade over time. This is no cause to be concerned about, and it is the normal recovery process.

Skin peels can be used on the treated area to facilitate the fading of the dots, however, they are not required as the dots will disappear completely by themselves within one or two months, exact healing times vary from person to person.

Depending on the original skin condition, more than one treatment of Fibroblast may be needed to achieve the desired result. At a personal or video chat consultation AskCares estheticians will be able to advise on the optimal number of treatments you will need. Most clients will be satisfied after a single treatment, however, up to 3 consecutive treatments may be performed on the same area to achieve very dramatic results even on aged skin.

Results:

After your dot scabs will fall off, you will immediately notice an improvement in the treated area. However, complete results from Fibroblast wrinkle remover treatment usually take between 4 to 8 weeks.  The best part is that unlike other commonly used treatment options like Botox and Fillers, Fibroblast Skin Tightening procedure is an all-natural treatment that brings about permanent results.

The treatment will not stop your natural aging process of course, but your skin will stay smooth and tight till future natural wrinkle formation or sagging of the skin occurs over the coming years. The good news is the Fibroblast treatment can be repeated.

What you should know:

Fibroblast skin tightening, when performed correctly, is one of the best non-surgical skin treatments in the beauty industry and cosmetology to date. However, the treatment has to be performed by a certified skilled esthetician not only to be effective but also to be safe.

The Plasma Pen used for the treatment should be manufactured by a reputable medical company, and it will always come with associated paperwork and certifications. If you are considering Fibroblast treatment - be sure to selected an experienced provider!

Best Areas for Fibroblast:

Fibroblast skin tightening can be performed virtually anywhere on the body, on large and small areas alike. You can have a full-face lift, get rid of hooded eyes, make the C-section scar disappear, and so on. Fibroblast works best on areas with loose or wrinkled skin.

Generally speaking, the thinner the skin is in the treated area, the more effective the treatment results will be, therefore eyelids and undereye areas show the most prominent results after a single Fibroblast session. Please see the candid AskCares client’s results in the image gallery.

How much does it cost?

Pricing for Fibroblast, just like any other more sophisticated treatment, will mainly vary based on the qualifications of the provider you choose and the area in which the salon is located. One thing is sure - Fibroblast pricing is way more affordable than surgery.

For example, one of the most receptive areas to the treatment is the upper lids. The eyelid surgery costs upwards of $3,000 accompanied by several weeks of recovery. In comparison one treatment of Fibroblast skin tightening on the upper lids costs between $500-650, it will produce comparable results to the eyelid surgery with a week of soft recovery.

Keep in mind most patients will be satisfied with one treatment, however, even if 2 or 3 treatments are done it will still be more affordable to get Fibroblast Plasma Lift vs any other invasive procedure money and time-wise.

Another way to look at a cost of Fibroblast wrinkle remover is to compare it to injectable fillers which are often used to plump back the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

One syringe of undereye filler costs between $650-1200, the cost highly varies based on the provider you choose. At the first glance, fillers seem to be a relatively acceptable option along with Fibroblast since they have minimal recovery time aside from minor possible bruising and swelling. However, Fibroblast Plasma Lift is a permanent solution whereas injectable fillers are a temporary one.

Once you decide to have Fibroblast treatment done you won’t need another one until the natural aging process occurs to your skin which will likely take years. Taking that into consideration, one can quickly realize that spending every 6 months to 1 year on injectable filler will add up to an enormous amount over time.

Therefore, from this point of view Fibroblast procedure is yet again a better alternative and a more cost-conscious solution.
